Product description

– The Makita MAC700 big bore air compressor has a 2.0 horsepower motor that provides continuous power for your air tools. The motor features a low Amp draw which ensures that it starts easily even in cold conditions. The low Amp draw feature also ensures that the air compressor doesn’t trip electric breakers or cause sudden voltage drops which can damage the motor.

– This air compressor features Makita’s famous big bore pumps. The built in pump has a cast iron cylinder which has a larger bore and stroke. This allows the pump to operate efficiently even at low RPMs. The pump is oil-lubricated to ensure that it runs smoothly and remains cool even when working on intense jobs. This is complemented by finned discharge tubing that reduces heat buildup within the motor and pump. Running at lower RPMs ensures that the pump and motor last longer while providing consistent output.

– The Makita MAC700 big bore 2.0 hp air compressor’s pump features a large air filter which maximizes air intake. The compressor body consists of a 2.6 gallon hot-dog style tank. The tank will consistently provide a 130 PSI operating pressure. It will also produce 90 PSI at 3.3 CFM and 40 PSI at 3.8 CFM allowing you to work with air tools with different pressure output requirements. An easy access tank drain valve makes it easy to drain off any accumulated water from the tank.

The air pump is supported on four low profile feet with rubber stands for to minimize vibration. A roll bar handle makes it easy to carry the air compressor while also protecting the motor and pump from accidental knocks. A strategically placed oil drain ensures that you can easily drain and replace lubricating oil when necessary. An oil sight glass ensures that you can easily know when it’s necessary to refill the pump with new oil.

– Besides the Makita MAC700 big bore air compressor, you’re also provided with oil and a 1/4-inch universal quick coupler which makes it easy for more than one person to use the air compressor simultaneously.
